About Sports Recovery Annex
Sports Recovery Annex is a walk-in sports recovery facility that provides everyday athletes and professionals access to state-of-the-art recovery tools and equipment once only available to Olympic athletes and the Pro’s. Recovery after training and competition will allow you to perform in your next competition or training session without being compromised by muscle soreness and/or fatigue. Recover to enhance your exercise performance.
If you are a novice runner training to compete in your first 5K, weekend warrior working on your general fitness or an elite athlete looking to perform your best, the Sports Recovery Annex is the place to come to help you stay in the game and achieve your goals. Our highly trained sports medicine staff include nationally certified athletic trainers, board certified physicians and support staff all with the sole focus to help keep you injury free so you can achieve your athletic goals.

Dr. Anthony Iselborn, DC, DACBSP, ATC, LAT, CSCS, FIAMA, PES
Dr. Iselborn completed undergraduate studies at the University of the State of New York and the University of Florida. He received his Chiropractic Degree from Life Chiropractic College in 1984. He is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP).
Dr. Iselborn is credentialed by the National Athletic Trainers Association as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).
He is fellowship trained to perform acupuncture by the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA). He is also certified in Dry Needling Trigger Point Technique. In 1999 and 2011, Dr. Iselborn was selected by the United States Olympic Committee to provide chiropractic care at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center. He is a member of the United States Olympic Sports Medicine Society and The American Chiropractic Association Sports Injury Council.
Dr. Iselborn is the Team Chiropractor for the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Professional Football Team. He is a member of the Professional Football Chiropractic Society.
He has extensive training and has been certified to perform Active Release Technique (ART), Graston Soft Tissue Technique Procedures, Kinesiotaping, and is FAKTR Certified (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation).
Dr. Iselborn served as a member of the United States Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Team at the 2011 Pan American Games.
Dr. Iselborn was selected and served with the United Stated Olympic Team as a member of the Medical Staff for the Games of the XXX Olympiad in London, England 2012.

As a competitive swimmer of 15 years, Ashley knows how important recovery is. With excitement, Ashley has spearheaded expanding the family business to focus on bringing the first “community athletic training room” to the Jacksonville community. She is currently the business operation manager and oversees day-to-day activity at the Annex.
Prior to Sports Recovery Annex, she taught for three years and coached swim for Atlantic Coast High School. Ashley graduated with her B.S. in Biology from the University of North Florida in 2012.
When Ashley isn’t at work, she spends her free time with her dog, Oliver, planning her next trip or spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Kaitlyn Iselborn, PT, DPT, CSMS
Dr. Iselborn is a graduate of Florida State University, where she received her B.S. in Exercise Science in 2013. She went on to attend University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where she attained her degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating with honors. While in school, she was fortunate enough to have been provided with many opportunities to work in environments that allowed her to advance her medical knowledge, including an internship at the Mayo Clinic, and the ability to provide medical coverage for the 2017 Disney Marathon.
Dr. Iselborn is a Jacksonville native and attended The Bolles School (class of 2009), where she was a competitive athlete, competing in varsity Cross Country and Track and Field. She continued her running career in college at FSU, where she was a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field travel teams.
As a product of her days as a competitive runner, Dr. Iselborn has a strong passion for treating athletes of all levels and knows the importance of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery.
Outside of the office, Dr. Iselborn continues to lead an active lifestyle, running and spending as much time outdoors as possible. In her spare time she enjoys experimenting with new recipes, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Catherine Horita is a certified athletic trainer originally from Arkansas. She’s excited to work at Sports Recovery Annex because she genuinely enjoys working with athletes and aiding their performance. Her passion for helping athletes is a great match with Sports Recovery Annex because they provide innovative and original services. When she’s not working, Catherine enjoys reading and going to the beach.

Whitney is Registered Dietitian from Ormond Beach, Florida. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of North Florida and earned her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology & Sports Nutrition from Florida State University. She worked in the Sports Nutrition Department during her time at Florida State. She also spent time working at Chip Smith Performance Systems, working with post-collegiate athletes preparing for the NFL Combine and Pro Days. Last spring she was the Performance Nutrition Intern for the Jacksonville Jaguars during OTA’s and mini camp. For the past year, Whitney has been the sports dietitian for the University of North Carolina’s Football Program.

Alexa Daneault, ATC, LAT
Alexa loves athletic training because she loves working with athletes throughout all aspects of their athletic performance.
She’s excited to work at the Sports Recovery Annex because it provides services to a variety of athletes. She says that it’s the idea of a community training room that welcomes everyone. Outside of work, Alexa enjoys working out and going to the beach.
Bryce is a graduate from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science, Athletic Training. While attending the University of North Florida he worked a yearlong internship with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a Student Athletic Trainer. Before he started school he served five years active duty in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman.
Sports Recovery Annex is a perfect fit for Bryce because his passion is keeping patients healthy and making sure they get the recovery they need.
When Bryce isn’t at work you can find him either at the gym, on the golf course, or hanging out with his friends.
Amber Lacinak-Jones is a Licensed Massage Therapist who enjoys working with a large range of age and activity levels, to help achieve personal goals through therapeutic massage techniques. She believes massage can help alleviate many pain issues that can keep us from doing the things we love to do.
Amber has worked as a massage therapist for more than 10 years, is Nationally Board Certified, and belongs to massage associations that keep her up-to-date with the latest and best ways to supply her patients with quality care.
Amber graduated from Palm Beach Academy of Health and Beauty in Lake Park, Florida, has volunteered her services to hospice nurses, health fairs and sporting events. In Amber’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, mountain biking, gardening, cooking, and playing with their three dogs.
Chris has been helping people to heal as a massage therapist for 20 years. He has worked in different environments such as, accident recovery, pain management, spas, and sports recovery.
What drives him is his desire for others to physically feel as good as possible. He realizes that physical relief also aides in emotional relief during his patients’ stressful times in life.
Chris is well versed in many modalities of massage, including neuromuscular, deep tissue, and pre natal to name a few. When he isn’t at work Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
Sports Recovery Annex has everything you need to actively recover between workouts and competitions.
